Maar dat hebben we ruimschoots goedgemaakt tijdens de 4300 km lange rondreis in een priv\u00e9 auto die we alweer een tijdje geleden door dit wonderschone Afrikaanse land maakten..<\/p>\n<p>Namibi\u00eb is ruim 20 keer zo groot als Nederland en zeer dun bevolkt met nog geen 2,5 miljoen inwoners. Het is een voor bezoekers veilig land, met een goede infrastructuur, en weliswaar niet overal verharde, maar zelfs in de woestijnen matig tot goed berijdbare gravel wegen. Het is door de extreme variatie en door de exotische mix van karakteristieke landschappen, vegetatie, mens en dier een paradijs voor iedereen met een camera om zijn nek&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Ik wilde er een reportage over plaatsen op mijn nieuwe Instagram account, maar het hele door mij ge\u00fcploade bericht waar uiteraard ook twee foto&#8217;s instonden van de prachtig versierde, maar half ontblote vrouwen van de Himbu stam, werd door Instagram verwijderd. Waar is onze in de 60-er jaren zwaar bevochten en veel geroemde nieuwe seksuele moraal gebleven; vrijheid om te gaan, te staan, te zien en te zeggen wat je wil? Jaren geleden vond iedereen dit mooi; nu ook nog natuurlijk, alleen mag je daar nu niet openlijk meer voor uit komen. Cartoonisten moeten bewaakt worden, en cabaretiers moeten hun woorden op goudschaaltjes wegen, staat onze vrijheid onder druk ?<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Niet getreurd ..\u00a0 we gaan er in deze editie van dit journaal\u00a0 extra de aandacht op vestigen, met extra veel foto&#8217;s van de schitterende half blote Himbu dames, want hier is g\u00e9\u00e9n censuur en van waarheid verdoezelende politieke correctheid moet ik helemaal niets hebben. Maar natuurlijk besteden we in deze editie ook aandacht aan veel andere fotogeniek aspecten van dit schitterende land !<\/p>\n<p>Wij kunnen een priv\u00e9 rondreis door dit fotogenieke en boeiende Namibi\u00eb aanraden voor elke avontuurlijke reiziger die wat bijzonders zoekt; er is praktisch geen tijdsverschil met Nederland\u00a0 (dus geen jetlag) en het is niet echt duur. De foto werd door National Geographic uitgekozen voor de Nat Geo Kalender van 2018. We waren na een klapband van de weg geraakt en 1,5 keer over de kop gegaan. De sporen van de slippartij zijn in het gravelwegdek nog een beetje te zien. Via een Walkie Talkie gevoed door een accu en een zonnecel konden we daar contact maken met een ranger, die de lodge waarschuwde waarnaar we op weg waren. door deze inwoners met zang en dans verrast. De vrouw in het midden is 94 jaar oud en volkomen blind.
